A Workshop on membranes

13/11/2017

On the initiative of Jean-Marie Tarascon (College of France) and Juan Pelta (LAMBE, University of Evry-Val-d'Essonne / Paris Saclay University and University of Cergy-Pontoise), Respore teams are invited to exchange on membranes for energy and health, their integration into microfluidic devices and industrial applications. The goal is to bring out innovative projects by combining our various expertise.

Date&Place:

December, 14, Collège de France.

Program :

1.30 pm - Unique biomimetic nanopores for biosensor applications, Sébastien Balme (University of Montpellier).

2 pm - Manufacture by transmission electron microscopy of a nanopore in SiNx, SiO2 and HfO2 thin membranes, Gilles Partiarche (C2N)

2.30 pm - Membranes and energy: challenges and prospects, Jean-Marie Tarascon (Collège de France)

3 pm - Microfluidic miniaturization for the electric field characterization of single cells, Bruno Le Pioufle (Institut d'Alembert, ENS Paris Saclay)

3.30 pm - Nanofluidic transport and applications to desalination and blue energy, Lydéric Bocquet

4 pm - Coffee break

4.30 pm - Composite membranes based on porous hybrid solids and polymers for CO2 capture, Nathalie Steunou (ILV, University of Versailles-Saint-Quentin)

5. pm - Emerging Collaboration: Synthesis of Cyclodextrin Nanotube Membranes for Self-Repairing Lithium-Sulfur Batteries, Boris Mirvaux (Collège de France)

5.15 pm - Emerging collaboration: Analysis of poly-sulfides using a solid nanopore, Jean Roman (LAMBE, University of Evry-Val-d'Essonne and University of Cergy-Pontoise / ENS Paris Saclay)

5.30 pm - Round table: Philippe Manivet, Cédric Boissière, Christian Serre, Juan Pelta, Jean-Marie-Tarascon

The workshop is open to members of Respore sensitive to the theme.
