RELAXOME NMR Relaxometry

This platform of IMPC aims at investigating mesoscopic dynamical processes (ns-0.1μs) in various systems (complex liquids, porous materials, colloidal systems, biological tissues, etc) by using the nuclear magnetic relaxation processes.

This platform is managed by PHENIX members.

Main technical features

This platform includes two types of relaxometers: field cycling (0-40MHz) and variable field (20-120MHz). The combination allows to maximize the range of accessible dynamical scales from the nanosecond up to the tenth of millisecond.

Sample preparation

The sample cells are standard NMR tubes 5mm (range 20-120 MHz) or 10 mm (range 10 kHz-40MHz). Other sample cells can be developed in collaboration with the platform members.

Access conditions

The access is controlled by IMPC and booking must be done by contacting Guillaume Mériguet  (guillaume.meriguet@upmc.fr) and Anne-Laure Rollet  (anne-laure.rollet@upmc.fr).
