Design of hybrid nanohybrids based on the rational combination of nanomaterials with different functionalities (plasmonic metals, catalysts, semiconductors, magnetic materials) within a mesoporous architecture. This particular geometry leads to the appearance of synergistic effects and novel functionalities, finding application as novel photocatalysts, advanced theranostic tools or intelligent membranes, just to name a few.
