I develop new instrumental and methodological approaches in NMR to study the dynamics of molecular systems. This work has recently led to the development of two new approaches to NMR: high-resolution relaxometry and dual magnetic field NMR. An important part of this work concerns the determination of movements in proteins over a wide range of time scales (ps-s). Recently, I have been studying dynamics in complex fluids, with long-term applications to the study of complex fluids in porous media.
