Abstract :

Biological and hybrid nanopores are ideal candidates for single molecule sensing and for the understanding of fundamental chemical principles in nanoscale dimension. Being able to understand the transport properties under the confinement effect is critical in many fields, ranging from biological applications to energy ones. The project focuses on the purification of these protein nanopores, a model for studying protein folding involved in conformational disease, peptides of different amino-acid composition.
