Participate at the workshop on biomaterials

14/01/2019

Respore organizes in collaboration with the Genopole a workshop on biomaterials. The themes will be artificial organs, stem cells, 3D systems, hydrogels, porosity and mechanics.

Presentations from speakers not member of Respore will complement the presentations of DIM members:

  • Onnik Agbulut (IBPS) "Bio-inspired biomaterials and stem cells for cardiac tissue engineering.
  • Christine Baldeschi (I-STEM)
  • Clément Campillo (LAMBE) "Studying the nanomechanics of living cells and biomimetic systems by AFM"
  • Laurent Corté (MMC) "Design of synthetic hydrogels for soft tissue reconstruction"
  • Francisco Fernandes (LCMCP) "Tailoring cell-material interfaces in 3D biopolymer foams using ice templating"
  • Alba Marcellan (SIMM) " Mechanical reinforcement of soft matter: synthetic gels as model systems"
  • Marco Antonio Mendoza (Genoscope) "Culturing 3-dimensional brain organoid tissues for studying the neurodevelopmental spatio-temporal organization"
  • Christelle Monville (I-STEM) "Preclinical validation of a tissue engineered product consisting in RPE derived from hESC disposed on human amniotic membrane"

A round table on the repair of materials in comparison with the repair of the Man is also planned at the end of the afternoon with the participation of Christian Serre (IMAP), Jean-Marie Tarascon (Chaire Chimie du Solide Energie) and Philippe Manivet (Centre de ressources biologiques).

The workshop will be held on Tuesday the 5th of February from 1:30 PM to 6:30 PM in room 236 of Ecole Normale Supérieure (building Jaurès, acces from the 24, rue Lhomond, Paris 5e).

Free Registration compulsory before the 25th of January.
